Canned Wine Photography: A Summer-Inspired Product Shoot for Just Enough Wine

I recently had the chance to photograph something that combines two of my favorite things – beautiful packaging and wine! Just Enough is a female-founded canned wine brand that's doing things differently. Not only are they focused on sustainability, but each can holds exactly 1.5 glasses of wine – which, as their name suggests, is just enough!

How This Wine Photography Project Came to Life

After discovering Just Enough during a late-night Google scroll (we've all been there), I fell in love with their brand story and knew I had to get these cans in front of my camera. But not just any photoshoot would do – I wanted to capture that perfect summer picnic vibe.

Creating That Perfect Summer Day

Picture this: Fresh flowers scattered just so, a mouthwatering charcuterie spread, and crisp white linens setting the scene while Just Enough's beautiful cans took center stage. For my photo nerds out there, I used my Godox AD600 Pro with no modifier to create that hard light that feels like sunshine on a bright summer day.

One of my favorite parts? I created this cool stop-motion gif by slowly lowering my strobe before each shot. The result? It feels exactly like you're sitting with friends as the sun sets over your picnic – glass (or can!) in hand.

Getting Those Money Shots

While the lifestyle shots were dreamy, I made sure to capture some clean, elegant product photos too. You know, the kind that work perfectly for:

  • Online stores (yes, you can buy Just Enough online!)

  • Email campaigns

  • Social media ads

  • Website headers

I'm particularly proud of this shot where the Rosé can is doing this casual lean – complete with perfect water droplets that make you want to grab a cold one right now.

The whole shoot came together to capture that "summer-in-the-park" feeling I was after. If you're a beverage brand looking for photos that make your products shine (while making people thirsty), let's chat! I'd love to create some magic for your brand too.
