Danish Creamery Butter Lifestyle Photography
A highlight of 2025 was working with the team at Ignite Social Media on a fun, lifestyle campaign for Danish Creamery.
When we first met, the Ignite team pitched two concepts that would appeal to the Danish Creamery demographic - an upscale dinner party and a fun, colorful brunch. The images needed to feel modern and bold while still evoking a warm, welcoming feeling that resonated with customers.
When considering locations, I immediately thought of The Upstate Table in Kingston, NY. We wanted an upscale, NYC apartment feel and the studios exposed brick, black metal accents, and long dining table were perfect.
I brought on Nikki Jessop to be the food stylist on set and she was a true partner throughout the process, cooking two delicious meals and styling everything to look perfectly imperfect. During our first meeting I told Nikki that the only requirement was to plan the food around butter - clearly she understood the assignment. From steak with a butter based sauce and oven roasted carrots to a quiche with the flakiest crust and to-die for cinnamon rolls, everything on set was *chef’s kiss.
Through thoughtful props selection, lighting choices, location scouting and more, the stories came to life. I can easily picture myself at either of these tables enjoying good food with friends, and hopefully Danish Creamery customers can too!
